レースレポートAXCR (ASIA CROSS COUNTRY RALLY) 2022
AXCR, the event that has been making Asian rally fans' hearts flutter, has been a long time coming!
The Asian Cross Country Rally (AXCR) 2022 was held from November 21-26, 2022.
The Asian Cross Country Rally (AXCR) is an international rally event that started in 1996, held in various Asian countries, and is a venerable international rally event officially recognized by the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), which oversees the WRC, Dakar Rally, Formula 1, and other rallies.
The AXCR is held across a variety of courses, including circuits, mountains, dense forests, beaches, as well as villages and farms. These unique Asian terrains are also a feature of the event.
The AXCR is organized by R1 Japan (Toshima-ku, Tokyo). Although usually held in August, the 27th edition in 2022 has been postponed to November. The reason for this, needless to say, is COVID-19; in fact, the 2020 and 2021 AXCR events were cancelled due to COVID-19, and the 2022 event could finally be held, albeit with a postponement.
The BRADLEY Series was among the 50 participating cars.
A total of 50 vehicles participated. A breakdown shows that there were 20 teams with 31 vehicles on four wheels ("AUTO Class"), 16 vehicles on two wheels and two sidecars (together "MOTO Class"), and one vehicle in the Adventure Class.
Of the teams competing in the AXCR2022, we would like to highlight the SRS-Osaka Welport Rally Team from Japan.
The team is a new model.
The team will be competing in the new Land Cruiser 300, which has just undergone a model change, and will be equipped with the just released Bradley Forged Design for the Land Cruiser 300.
This was a rare opportunity to see the combination of the Land Cruiser 300 and the Bradley Forged Takumi in a full-scale rally.

After six days of intense competition covering 1,700 km, the AUTO class was won by "Team Mitsubishi Ralliart". The event ended with a shocking first-time team taking the championship.
